Xbox Showcase Date Revealed
Microsoft has officially scheduled its big summer Xbox Showcase for June 8, with a double feature format once again. Following the main presentation, The Outer Worlds 2 Direct will offer fresh gameplay and insights straight from Obsidian.
Like last year, this is a pre-recorded digital event, coinciding with Summer Game Fest week. We expect updates on major first-party titles like Perfect Dark, Fable, and Gears of War: E-Day, alongside potential surprises from third-party devs and indies alike.

And let’s not rule out a wild card: Xbox could very well use this platform to announce that some of its upcoming games may also land on PlayStation or Switch 2. Microsoft’s platform strategy has been shifting, and this could be a key moment for cross-platform declarations. We’ll just have to wait and see what June 8 brings.
