Oblivion Remastered Is Out Now on PS5, Xbox Series, and PC

The long-awaited return to Cyrodiil is no longer a rumor—The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered is officially available now for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Bethesda surprised fans with the announcement and launch during a showcase, delivering one of the most beloved RPGs of all time in an upgraded and expanded form.

Built in Unreal Engine 5, the remaster breathes new life into the 2006 classic with reworked lighting, improved textures, refined UI, and smoother combat. But it doesn’t stop at visuals—the game also features modernized mechanics and quality-of-life upgrades designed to bring Oblivion up to today’s RPG standards.

Included in the remastered edition are the iconic expansions Knights of the Nine and Shivering Isles, making this the most complete version of Oblivion to date. And for Xbox Game Pass subscribers, it’s available at no additional cost from day one.

Oblivion Remastered reportedly weighs in at over 120GB, which speaks to its upgraded assets and scope. It’s not just a nostalgia play—it’s a major reintroduction to one of the most atmospheric, open-ended fantasy RPGs ever made.

Whether you’re new to the series or a returning hero of Kvatch, there’s never been a better time to step into the gates of Oblivion.
