Mario Kart won’t be the only high-speed racing game on Nintendo Switch 2! In a surprise reveal during the latest Nintendo Direct, Kirby Air Riders was officially announced as a brand-new entry in the Kirby racing series, with none other than Masahiro Sakurai at the helm as director.
Over 20 years after the original Kirby Air Ride debuted on Nintendo GameCube, this long-awaited successor will bring fast-paced, gravity-defying racing to Nintendo’s next-gen hardware.
More details are expected soon, but one thing is certain—Kirby Air Riders is set to be a major comeback for the series when it launches exclusively for Nintendo Switch 2 in 2025!
