DOOM: The Dark Ages – New Trailer Drops

id Software’s medieval twist on the iconic DOOM franchise just got bloodier. The second trailer for DOOM: The Dark Ages is here, showing off brutal close-quarters combat, demonic destruction, and a powerful new arsenal.

Set in a dark fantasy world, the game follows the Slayer as he tears through hellish enemies using medieval weaponry like the Shield Saw, while also taking to the skies on a dragon and piloting massive mechs. It’s a mix of old-school violence and high-concept fantasy.

Launching May 15, 2025, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, the game will also be available day one on Xbox Game Pass.

This bold direction keeps the franchise’s energy intact while delivering a fresh setting and new gameplay layers. The brutality is familiar—but the world is something else entirely.
