Expanded version brings Scrooge McDuck, new content, and all post-launch updates
Originally released exclusively for Switch in 2023 to positive reviews, Disney Illusion Island is finally heading to other platforms. Titled Disney Illusion Island Starring Mickey & Friends, this enhanced version drops on May 30 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
Just like the original, up to four players can team up as Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Goofy to explore the hand-drawn world of Monoth — a colorful, non-violent platforming adventure packed with puzzles, boss fights, and hidden collectibles across three unique biomes.
This new version adds Cave Adventuring Scavenger Hunt (C.A.S.H.), where players team up with Scrooge McDuck to search for permanent upgrades using a brand-new Dig ability. Also included are previously released updates like Mystery in Monoth, a detective-themed side story, and Keeper Up, a fast-paced time trial mode.
