Exclusive Mouse Feature for Switch 2
Deltarune will introduce a special feature exclusive to the Nintendo Switch 2, allowing players to use two Joy-Cons in mouse mode. This unique control scheme will be available in a single room in the game, offering Switch 2 players an exclusive experience.
The release date for Deltarune Chapters 3 and 4 was revealed during Nintendo’s Switch 2 Direct on April 2. Set for launch on June 5, the game will also be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, PC, and the original Nintendo Switch. However, the Switch 2 version will feature the special two-mouse control functionality.
Toby Fox, the solo developer behind Deltarune, confirmed the feature in a Fangamer newsletter, mentioning it would appear in a brief segment during the Switch 2 Direct trailer. While the room with the two-mouse controls will be accessible in all versions of the game, only the Switch 2 will support the Joy-Con feature. Other platforms will have different control schemes for the special room.
