Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition Uses DLSS on Switch 2

DLSS Brings Smoother Performance and Sharper Visuals to Switch 2

Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition Uses DLSS on Switch 2

Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition is officially coming to Switch 2, and it will be one of the first titles on the platform to utilize DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling). This means players can expect a smoother gameplay experience and better visuals, especially in docked mode.

DLSS is an AI-powered upscaling technology from NVIDIA that allows the game to render at lower resolutions and upscale to higher outputs with less performance cost. On Switch 2, this feature enables Cyberpunk 2077 to hit 1080p in docked mode and maintain 720p performance on handheld with increased frame stability.

The inclusion of DLSS showcases how CD Projekt RED is adapting AAA experiences for hybrid hardware without compromising on fidelity. The Ultimate Edition includes not just the base game but also the Phantom Liberty expansion, making this version the most complete Cyberpunk package to date.

As a Switch 2 launch title, this also sets a promising tone for third-party support and the console’s capacity to handle technically demanding titles using intelligent optimization methods.

Cyberpunk 2077 looks sharper, runs better, and finally goes handheld in full form — powered by DLSS.
