Assassin’s Creed Shadows Possibly Coming to Switch 2

Ubisoft's latest Japan-set Assassin's Creed Adventure May Arrive on Nintendo's Next-Gen Console

Assassin’s Creed Shadows Possibly Coming to Switch 2

Assassin’s Creed Shadows may be heading to Nintendo Switch 2, as suggested by a new PEGI rating spotted online. While Ubisoft hasn’t confirmed anything yet, PEGI listings are often reliable indicators of upcoming platform releases.

Originally released in March 2025 for PS5, Xbox Series, PC, and Luna, the game features dual protagonists—Naoe the shinobi and Yasuke the samurai—in a richly detailed feudal Japan.

With Switch 2 launching on June 5, 2025, this PEGI rating hints at Ubisoft’s willingness to bring high-fidelity open-world games to Nintendo’s new hardware. The game received an 18+ rating, consistent with the series’ mature tone.

If confirmed, this would be a big win for Switch fans hoping for more AAA titles at launch.
