Mario Kart World Adds Custom Kart Decals

Personalize Your Ride and Unlock Exclusive Decals as You Race

Mario Kart World Adds Decal System for Player Customization

Mario Kart World is stepping up its customization game with the introduction of sticker-based kart personalization. Recent screenshots show characters like Mario and Peach driving karts covered with various decals — from “Spiny Shell” logos to caution-style tags like “Have a Nice Drive!”

Each kart features clearly defined sticker zones — such as side panels, front bumpers, and even tires. A “+” icon in the kart selection menu also suggests a dedicated sticker management option.

Players can reportedly unlock stickers by reaching certain milestones in Free Roam mode. For example, driving 300 km rewards the “Birdo Jewelry” sticker. This system seems to combine cosmetic upgrades with gameplay incentives, encouraging players to show off their progress visually.

Mario Kart is no stranger to flair, but this new layer of visual identity adds fresh depth to an already beloved racing experience.
