Developed by FusionPlay and published by Team17, Nice Day for Fishing is set to launch on May 29 for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. Inspired by Viva La Dirt League’s “Epic NPC Man” series, the game tells the story of Baelin — a humble fisherman turned accidental hero.
What starts as a calm fishing trip quickly spirals into an adventure filled with boss fights, magic spells, town-building, and pixel-perfect chaos. With timing-based fishing mechanics and an overworld full of quests and quirky NPCs, the game offers a fresh, funny take on the RPG genre.
